We're conducting virtual interviews on September 7th to find exceptional cooks who can elevate our guests' dining experiences as we sail through the breathtaking Hawaiian Islands on the Pride of America Cruise Ship.

Your Role Onboard: As a vital member of our culinary team, you'll have responsibility to:

  • Collaborate with your team to ensure the delivery of dishes of impeccable quality.
  • Ensure all food preparation adheres to the highest standards, following established recipes and methods that result in unforgettable dining experiences.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient production flow within the kitchen environment, skillfully adapting to menu changes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct rigorous food handling checks and follow comprehensive training to guarantee the highest levels of safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and reconciliation of food items.
  • Exhibit flexibility to address any additional culinary needs that may arise on the journey.

What We Value: We're looking for candidates who embody the following qualities:

  • Possess a strong command of the English language, both in verbal and written forms, ensuring effective communication across a diverse team.
  • Showcasing a range of cooking techniques, including roasting, broiling, sautéing, frying, grilling, pastry baking, sauce creation, and cold food preparation.
  • Your ability to upscale a recipe from serving 8 to catering for 64, 128, or 256 guests.
  • Every plate is a canvas of your work; perfection in presentation and taste is a must.
  • Hold a culinary school degree or equivalent training in the art of the culinary craft.
  • Possess a minimum of one year of experience working in a high volume kitchen on a cruise ship, at a hotel, or in a fast paced restaurant environment.
