In this dynamic role within our Agronomy division, you’ll serve as an <strong>Account Manager</strong> to strengthen customer partnerships, grow market share, and deliver profitable solutions<strong>. </strong>Success in this role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, self-starter attitude and a passion for building long-lasting relationships. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and customers to deliver innovative, purpose-driven strategies that support both grower success and the CHS mission.</p> <p> </p> <p>This role is remotely based with a home office. While exact location is flexible, ideal residency would be within the broader territory, such as the MSP metro area, St. Cloud, MN, or Owatonna, MN, to support effective customer engagement.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></h2> </div><div><p><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage P and L for an assigned territory.</li> <li>Develop relationships with suppliers to assist, advise, and harness supply economics and strategies in assigned region.</li> <li>Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape needed to forecast supply requirements by month and on an annual basis.</li> <li>Utilize proficient knowledge of product offerings to increase sales and margins by prospecting new customers and executing sales programs.</li> <li>Facilitate positive long-term relationships with suppliers and customers to create long-term repeat business.</li> <li>· Build and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential customers, vendors, and internal staff.</li> <li>Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions.</li> <li>Create, develop, and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies that capture maximum value.</li> <li>Collaborate with other CHS teams to leverage business relationships, growing the CHS enterprise.</li> <li>Share knowledge and constructively contribute toward developing sales best practices among team members.</li> <li>Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
